The Department of Marathi was established in the college at UG level in 2001 with the aims of promoting Marathi language &culture .Marathi is a mother tongue of students so it has great tradition. Marathi is a language of communication in the college and Maharashtra . So, the department tries to preserve its heritage and importance.
The department conducts different activities to communicate Marathi thoughts among the students. The department conducts every year “ Marathi Bhasha Pandhawada “ to inculcate , to foster Marathi language. There are two faculty members in the department .
