In our college the subject of Economics has been started as a General subject for the faculty of Arts from 2001. Courses offer by department of economics is BA in economics and planning to extend Till MA Economics in the next year. Department staff is engaged in various activities and courses.

Head of Department is coordinator of various courses like, Certificate courses, Student Welfare Department etc.

The department conducts tour visits to bank, industries and market in order to understand market economy. Burning issues like GST, demonetization, etc are discussed in the college through department. Group discussion and class Seminar are conducted in the class.
